Yoga classes in Hedon : Have you made a New Year's resolution to do something about your physical fitness? Fancy starting off your new regime with some stretching and relaxation? Then why not join the weekly Yoga class in Hedon this year. The hour-long sessions, which take place in the Alexandra Hall, St. Augustine's Gate between 5 and 6 pm every Wednesday, cost just £2 per session and this term will re-commence on Wednesday January 15th.

Bingo sessions in Hedon : there are two weekly bingo sessions being run regularly in Hedon, both in the Princes Avenue Hall, New Road (opposite Safeway supermarket.) On Mondays the "Happy Friendly Club" meets from 2 to 4 p.m. and the weekly cost of £2 includes bingo and a raffle : all profits are used to subsidise the club's monthly outings. The second session is on Saturday evenings from 7.30 until 9.30 p.m. Both groups welcome new members - just come along and join in and have a good time.

Afternoon Tea Dances : dance to live music with Muriel Niffton in the Alexandra Hall, St. Augustine's Gate, Hedon, every Wednesday afternoon from 2 until 4 p.m. Entrance is only £2, which includes refreshments, and everyone is welcome.

Free emergency aid courses : Heartstart UK is a nationwide voluntary organisation affiliated to the British Heart Foundation whose aim is to train all willing persons in Emergency Life Support. These courses are free and are available throughout Britain in many schools and in the community. The Hedon group are offering to organise free two-hour first aid courses for any group which wants to make use of them. There is no age limit, so if your group, or even a group put together for this purpose, would like to take up this offer and would like instructors to travel to your own venue, contact the area co-ordinator Irene Robinson on 01482 897545 to make arrangements.

Hedon Pentecostal Church meets every Sunday at 10.30 a.m. in the Jubilee Room of the Alexandra Hall, St. Augustine's Gate; a Sunday School is also held at 10.30 a.m. every Sunday.
Paull : St. Andrew's Church : afternoon service at 3.00 p.m. : this will be a "favourite hymns" service so please give your choices to Beryl Marshall before hand.
Paull Methodist Church, Main Street : no service this week - services on alternate Sunday afternoons at 3 p.m.
Preston : All Saint's Parish Church : Holy Communion Service at 9.30 a.m.
Preston Methodist Church : Holy Communion at 10.30 a.m.
