Light up for Christmas!! Everyone loves to see brightly-lit and decorated houses and gardens at Christmas time, so to get everyone into the festive mood the residents of Paull are being challenged to make theirs the best-decorated village around! There is NO entrance fee – in fact you don’t need to formally enter, just dust off those lights and get decorating! The judges will be walking round the whole of the village in the week leading up to Christmas looking at all the decorations, and prizes will be awarded to their favourite in each street with one special prize for the overall winner.

Preston Christmas Fair : Holderness Youth Initiative are holding a Christmas fair on Saturday December 11th in the South Holderness Youth Centre, Station Road, Preston, between 1.00 p.m. and 3.00 p.m. Everybody is welcome and admission is free : there will be Christmas cards, gift tags and table decorations on sale as well as many craft items, plus several different games for you to try your luck at. Refreshments will be available too, so come along and join in the fun!

Hedon Pentecostal Church meets every Sunday at 10.30 a.m. in the Jubilee Room of the Alexandra Hall, St. Augustine’s Gate; a Sunday School is also held at 10.30 a.m. every Sunday.
Paull : St Andrew’s Parish Church : Family Service and baptism at 11.15.a.m.
Paull Methodist Church, Main Street : no service this week – the next service will be on December 12th at 3.00 p.m.
Preston: All Saint’s Parish Church : Holy Communion at 11.00 a.m.
Preston Methodist Church : morning service at 10.30 a.m.
